Between 2002 and 2008, Sommer was the co-founder and President of Luxury Cruise Center, a high-end travel agency specializing in selling premium and luxury cruise products. Prior to 2000, Sommer worked eight years at Renaissance Cruises in various marketing and finance roles. Olivere sits on the ASTA marketing committee and the CLIA trade relations board and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Michigan.
